don't look down

The moon was just farewelling the sky when I left the house for work this morning. It was cold and I was tired. My happy face faded as the hours passed. I found myself in a fluster, and hid in the kitchen with Josh the chef, twice maybe thrice and took deep breaths and tried not to cry. I left the cafe, eleven hours after I had arrived, tired and weary. If it weren't for the fennel tea in the mug that my beloved brother sent me I don't think I would have made it to bedtime without tears. Thank you dear fennel and thank you Elijah and thank you Iron & Wine for blessing me with humble tunes to put me to rest for the day.
