i think i'm ready for marriage

The past few days have been spent in Paige's mcmansion being a domestic goddess. The family she nannies for went on vacation so we went wild in their abode. I believe this to be some of the best cooking I/we have ever done, hence the confidence in being ready for marriage.

On Tuesday night we made pasta with the apparatus we found in the kitchen cupboard. The results were a little shady at first but things got better as time went on. Pesto, pine nuts, pumpkin, sun-dried tomatoes and feta successfully disguised our faulty pasta. An intense session of Just Dance on wii was followed by raspberry ice cream, also made by Paige, Celine and myself.

Things got even greater on Wednesday when Paige and I decided we would dedicate our entire day to cooking. We ambled through pages and pages and pages of recipes before making wise choices. This is what became of our day: Wholemeal sun-dried tomato, pumpkin seed and pine nut bread, a grand salad of spinach, pine nuts, pumpkin, peppers, feta and walnuts, and possibly the deadliest cake of all time. Deadly in that A: it took us a total of 7 hours to make, and B: i could eat no more than two bites and even then felt ill. We were rather proud of what we'd achieved, Paige and I. Celine and Pierre were indeed impressed when they came home and their eyes beheld the glory of the cake sitting on the kitchen bench.

This was by far, without a doubt the single most amazing shower I have ever been privileged to use. Celine and I loved it so much in fact that we showered twice a day because yes, it was just THAT enjoyable.
