I ceased the manufacturing of z's at half seven this morning only to discover a message from my manager informing me that I in fact had the day off! Joyful, I went back to sleep until nine. Sometimes Mondays are melancholic, but not today.
This is what became of my day: A trip to The Courtald Gallery at Somerset House; multiple purchases of delicious bread at Whole Foods on High Street Kensington; a walk in the park, Hyde Park to be precise; and a little ambling through the Victoria & Albert Museum in South Kensington.
